New Zealand’s manufacturing sales ceased contracting in second quarter: the Statistics New Zealand reported the volume of sales in the manufacturing sector of the economy recorded 0.2% growth over quarter in Q2 after 2.5% contraction in the previous quarter. Manufacturing sales had declined 0.4% in Q4 2022. Resumption of growth in manufacturing sales is bullish for New Zealand currency and the NZDUSD currency pair.
