German manufacturing sector contraction continued in Q3: SP Global report showed the final reading of German Manufacturing PMI came in at 39.6 after the initial reading of 39.8, when no change was forecast. Readings above 50.0 indicate industry expansion, below indicate contraction. SP Global survey showed output fell to the greatest extent for almost three-and-a-half years amid a further drop in new orders. Input costs and output charges further declined in September indicating weaker demand. This is bearish for EURUSD.
